The challenge
The company's infrastructure had grown up on premises — servers owned, housed, and maintained by the business, with the refresh cycles, capacity ceilings, and single-site risk that model carries. In a business whose operations the healthcare supply chain depends on, the question was not whether to move, but how to move without interrupting the work: a platform decision that had to serve reliability first and modernisation second.
What we did
We assessed the on-premises estate — what ran where, what depended on what, and what genuinely needed to move first — and designed a private-cloud target that fit the company's operational and compliance requirements. The migration was then sequenced workload by workload, with dependencies mapped, cutovers planned around the operating rhythm of the business, and each move verified before the next began — so the estate transitioned without the business standing still.
The outcome
The company's infrastructure now runs on a private cloud: the on-premises estate retired, capacity and resilience managed as a service rather than a hardware refresh cycle, and a foundation in place that future modernisation can build on instead of working around. The migration completed with operations running throughout.
